TRENTON, GA: Anna Mae Ellis, age 88, passed away on February 15, 2019. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be missed by all.


She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stephen Ellis; parents Abraham Posner and Juliett Thumm (William); brother William Thumm.


She is survived by her daughters Cheryl A. Campbell, Trenton, GA; Charlene K. Long, Michigan; son Charles J. Ellis; three grandchildren Casey (Samara) Long, Carrie (Greg) Sobol, and Marcy (Michael) Kolb of Michigan; six great-grandchildren Eliana, Avi, Asher, and Yishai Long; Ari Sobol and Ezra Kolb of Michigan. sister Elizabeth Frenette; and a host of friends.


Graveside services will be held Monday, February 18, 2019 at 4:00 PM EST at Payne Gap Cemetery, Ider, AL.

HIXSON, TN: Newell Douglas Barnett, age 45, passed away February 13, 2019.


He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Dot and Newell Daniels, infant brother Stephen Craig Barnett II.


Survivors include his daughters Reagan Barnett, Allison Barnett, and Hannah Grace Barnett; sisters Stephanie Dianne Holmes and Stephanie Gibson; brothers Thomas Eddie Lambert and Stephen Rains; step-mother Trudy Barnett.


Funeral services will be held Monday, February 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM EST in the Trenton Chapel with Brother Tim O’Rear officiating. Interment will follow in Hawkins Cemetery.


The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 PM on Monday.

Franklin Crabtree, 78, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.


Mr. Crabtree was retired from Machinco of Ringgold following 30 years of service and was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Crabtree and Lora Bell Page, two brothers, and one sister.


Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Glenda Crabtree; son, Daniel Crabtree of Trenton; daughter, Deborah (Matt) Smith of Lookout Valley; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three sisters, three brothers, and several nieces & nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Eddie Cantrell officiating.
