LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN GA: Robin K. Massey, 62, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020.


Robin was a proud member and long time Sunday school teacher at Mount Carmel Gospel Church. She retired from BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee after 25 years of service. Her passion was her family and friends. Robin was loved immensely and will be dearly missed.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Massey; father, Buddy Dawson and brother, Robby Dawson.


She leaves to cherish her memory are her sons, Allen (Karen) Walters, Derek (April) Massey, Kevin (Annie) Massey; mother, Kathleen Mathis; mom, Betty Dawson; sister, Belinda (Randy) Sliger; brothers, Rick (Renee) Womack, Larry Womack; seven grandchildren, Cambre, Bradley, Kaleigh, Caleb, Addison, Heath and Kole; one great-grandchild, Ashton; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.


Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Mount Carmel Gospel Church and Cemetery with Brother Daryl Massey, Brother Tracy Massey and Brother Jody Massey officiating.

RISING FAWN, GA.: Mrs. Rachel Yancy Bailey of Athens, AL passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 in Rising Fawn, GA. Mrs. Bailey was born on July 26, 1928 in Danville, AL to Chesley Vincent Yancy and Mary Lillian Elrod Yancy.


She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George R. Bailey; son, Richard G. Bailey; son-in-law, Birdwell McMunn.


Mrs. Bailey is survived by her daughter, Mary Jo McMunn; sons, George J. Bailey (Donna) and Don V. Bailey (Mary); grandchildren, Jason McMunn, Nicole Chaney, Tamara Bryant, Alan Bailey, David Bailey, Kathy Ragon, Kelley Doolittle, Jim Teas, Miller Haynes and David Haynes; 18 great-grandchildren.


Mrs. Bailey was a member of Isom’s Chapel Methodist Church.


There will be a private graveside service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Athens City Cemetery with Jim Hixon, Tony Jones, and Bill Stone officiating. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Bailey’s grandsons and great-grandsons. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga. (www.hospiceofchattanooga.org)

WILDWOOD, GA.: James "Jim" Allison Price, age 86, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of the Church of Christ.


He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Peggy Price; parents, Hardee and Beulah Mae Price; brothers, Clinton Joe Price and Jerry Price.


Survivors include his daughter, Tammi (Conny) McBryar, granddaughters, Kaci (Jacob) Floyd and Holli Ann (Matt) Hancock, great grandchildren, Jack and Jude Floyd, Ella Kate, Josi Reese and Sawyer Quinn Hancock, sister, Mary Jane Avakian, niece, Quen (Brandon) Black, great nieces, Ainsley and Lily Black, and a host of family and friends.


Due to the current health regulations, a private graveside service will be held at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
