JUNE ROTHWELL WILSON

June Rothwell Wilson, 87, of Trenton, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 in a local health care facility. Mrs. Wilson was a long-time educator with the Dade County School System.

A celebration of life will be held at a date to be announced by Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.

SARAH ELIZABETH VAIL

TRENTON, GA.: Sarah Elizabeth “Liz” Vail, age 84, passed away March 21, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Gordon Lee Bradford and Mildred Katie Chadwick Bradford and was of the Baptist faith.

Elizabeth was formerly from Valley, Alabama and had also lived in the Chattanooga area before moving to Trenton, GA.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Vail; son Terry Vail; brother Jimmy Bradford.

Survivors include several cousins in the North Georgia and Birmingham, AL. areas.

Private graveside services will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

WILLIAM THOMAS COUNTISS

William Thomas “Tom Bo” Countiss, age 69, of Higdon, Alabama died Tuesday afternoon March 17, 2020 at Highland Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by his parents Brian Stanton and Annie Higdon Countiss, Brother James Lee Countiss, and sister Mary Swanson.

Surviving include his sister Eva Lacy of Rossville, GA; Brother Charles Countiss of Higdon, AL; niece Yvonne (Lloyd) George of Ohatchee, AL; nephews Greg Swanson of Higdon, AL, James Swanson of Bryant, AL, Jonathan Swanson of Higdon, AL, Daniel (Michelle) Moore of Ooltewah, TN, Nathan Moore of Rossville, GA, and Jeremy (Natalie) Moore of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; also several great nieces and nephews.
