Lindel Ray Pierce, Sr., 79, of Trenton, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020.


Lindel was a man of faith, enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Bishop Pierce, son, Lindel Ray Pierce, Jr., sisters, Polly Towns & Mamie Pierce Lassiter, & brother, James Pierce.


Survivors include his children, Rhonda (Mike) Bush, Covington, KY, Lloyd (Amy) Pierce & Wayne (Jennifer) Pierce, all of Trenton; grandchildren, Michael Holland, Cathy, James, & Derick Scholl, Carrington, Madison, & Cooper Pierce, & Josephine & Elijah Pierce; six great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (Mary Ann) Pierce of Lookout Mountain, GA; several nieces & nephews.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Lux, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in Head Springs Cemetery, Valley Head, AL.

TRENTON, GA: Susan Kaye Feuerstein, age 57, passed away at her Sand Mountain home on January 9, 2020. She was the wife of Ron Feuerstein. They shared thirty-five years together.


Susan was born February 15, 1962 at Sheridan Community Hospital in Sheridan, MI. She attended Central Montcalm High School where she played basketball and the flute in the school band. She was active in the color guard and cheerleading. She went on to work in the Greenville, MI area for many years, both as a bank teller and in animal care.


During her final years, she moved to the Sand Mountain area and became an active member of St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church in Trenton, GA. She devoted her time and energy to her family and faith until the end. She will be remembered for her undying love, strength, faith, and compassion by those who knew and loved her.


Susan is survived by her husband Ron; children Kris (Dana) Thomas, Kevin (Tiffany) Thomas, and Stephanie (Brad) Dennie; grandchildren Samara Bailey, Kierstyn Thomas, Kyra Dennie, Rylee Cooley, Avery Thomas, Harper Dennie, and Cooper Dennie; parents Carolyn and Marco Wolschon; siblings Connie (Taylor) Lewis, Larry (Tammy) Feuerstein, and Bob Feuerstein; in-laws Bob and Ann Feuerstein; nieces, a nephew, and her beloved dogs Ozzy, Percy and Stella.

A memorial service will be held at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church in Trenton, GA. on Tuesday, January 14,2020 at 11:00 AM EST. Final farewell and interment will take place in Sheridan, MI at a later date.


The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Jerilynn Culver Kenney, 77, of Trenton, GA, and formerly of Chalmette, LA, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019.


Mrs. Kenney was born on October 24, 1942 in New Orleans, LA to Jerry & June Woods Culver. She was a graduate of Chalmette High School class of 1961and retired from Leaman & Co. in 2005. She also worked for Maryland Casualty Co. for many years. Mrs. Kenney was of the Catholic faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Kenney, Jr., and daughter, Laurie Lynn Kenney.


Survivors include her son, Lloyd Kenney, III of Trenton, GA; special companion and four-legged friend, Bella Von Flutgraben.


A memorial service will be held at Trenton First Baptist Church of Saturday, January 18th at 12:00 noon with Bro. Eddie Cantrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at the church. A second service will be held on Saturday, February 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lords Catholic Church, 2621 Colonial Blvd., Violet, LA, 70092. Receiving of friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at the church.
