GLENDA LA-DALE RAINES

Glenda La-Dale Raines, 31, of Wildwood, GA, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 in a local hospital.

Glenda was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her father, Robert M. Raines.

Survivors include her mother, Virginia Jo Drew Raines of Wildwood, GA; brother, Ardell Drew; aunts, Maxie Drew & Ruby Ford; several cousins.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 5th at 1:00 p.m. at Sarah’s Chapel Cemetery.

ELWANDA BLACK MASHBURN

BRYANT, AL: Elwanda Black Mashburn, age 88, passed away January 3, 2020. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was of the Holiness faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Mashburn, parents Walter and Roda Black, several brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include her daughter Debbie (Doyce) Holman of Flat Rock, AL.; sons Lamar (Teresa) Mashburn, Rossville, GA; Dennis Mashburn, Bryant, AL; five grandchildren Kevin Holman, Brian Holman, James Mashburn, Christy Morrison, and Courtney Fields; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister Jean Nix, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 6, 2020 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Winters officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM; Monday from 10:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM EST.

RALPH JENKINS

Ralph Lavaughn Jenkins, 79, of East Ridge, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 in a local hospital.

Mr. Jenkins was retired from Chattanooga Bakery and is survived by his brother, Otis Jenkins of East Ridge and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 6, 2020 in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with burial to follow in Head Springs Cemetery, Valley Head, AL.
