NANCY HARP

ROSSVILLE, GA. Nancy Harp, age 72, passed away December 16, 2019. Nancy was born in Fort Payne, Alabama to the late Robert A. and Betty D. (Babb) Hickey of Rainsville, Alabama. She resided in the Walker County area for more than fifty years and was a 1965 graduate of Rossville High School.

She was employed with Rossville Mills/Chromatex for over thirty years until its closing in 2002. She also worked for Steven M. Henry Construction, LLC.

She was preceded in death by Jamie Pope, niece; Tammie Hickey, sister-in-law; and David Scealf, nephew.

Survivors include her son, Russell Stephen (Debbie) Harp, his father Russell Larry Harp; grandson Stephen Harp; sister Carla (Adrian) Hageman of East Ridge, TN; brother Ronald Hickey of Chickamauga, GA; nieces Candace (Eddie) Hamrick, Ellie (James) Woody, Shawnee Shook; nephews Michael (Patty) Griffith, Eric (Shannon) Hageman, Chris (Lindsey) Hageman, Doug Scealf, Darrel Scealf, Bill Scealf, Gary Kinsey, and Jack Harp; two grand nieces Nisa Handy and Alycia Gibson; seven grand nephews AJ Bond, Alex and Ryan Griffith, Stephen Gibson, Aiden, Zachary, and Ian Hageman; best friends Sherron and Dickie Crabtree of Bryant, AL; special friend Robert Wooten.

The family will celebrate her life at a later date with Pastor Jason Thomas officiating.

DOROTHY ROBINSON

TRENTON, GA: Dorothy Louise Robinson , age 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 9, 2019. She was born September 24, 1935, in Jasper, TN, to Daniel and Ida Pittman. She married Thomas Robinson in 1953 and they were married for 63 years.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Danny) Ellis of Trenton; two sons, Michael (Delane) Robinson of Trenton and Charles (Penny) Robinson of Tunnel Hill; three grandchildren, Daniel (Juanita) Robinson, Dane (Stormy) Robinson and Anthony Robinson; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dorothy’s husband, mother, father, sister Betty King, brothers Dan Pittman Jr. and Billy Pittman preceded her in death.

Dorothy was a longtime resident of Trenton, Ga and a member of White Oak Baptist Church. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to sew and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves supporter.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM EST in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home Trenton. Brother Charles Ellison and Brother Jeff Daniels will be officiating. The burial will be held at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM EST and on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 9:00 AM until the service hour.

RODNEY MIDDLETON

RISING FAWN, GA: Rodney Harrison Middleton, age 69, passed away December 11, 2019 at his home on Lookout Mountain. He loved to restore John Deere tractors, El Caminos, and could build anything. As a child he listened to LSU Football on WWL radio and was a life-long fan. Geaux Tigers! Rodney was loved.

Rodney is preceded in death by his parents, Rob Middleton and Amy Thomasson.

Survivors include his wife and best buddy of thirty-nine years, Gloria Middleton; daughters Meredith Middleton and Ashley Hagaman; son Jason (Crystal) Middleton; seven grandchildren; step-mom Gail Middleton; sister Nancy Tucker; brothers Mike (Spot) Middleton and Greg Middleton; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM EST at Hawkins Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Thursday 5:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM; Friday 9:30 AM ~ 10:30 AM at the Trenton Chapel.
