Max D. Kesler, 79, of Bryant, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 2, 2019.


Max was born in Higdon, Alabama, was of the Baptist faith, and the former owner of the Huddle House in Trenton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Griff & Thelma Kesler, and brothers, Clyde & Lynnwood Kesler.


Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Tina Kesler; children, Kim (Tommy) Gearrin, Dallas, GA, Karen (Tommy) Middlebrooks, Rossville, GA, Devaughn Kesler, Bryant, AL, Deven (Amy) Kesler of Bryant, AL, and Kendale (Chelsea) Kesler, South Pittsburg, TN; eight grandchildren, & five great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Miller, Bryant, AL.


A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th at 1:00 p.m. in the Ryan Funeral Home chapel.

Timothy “Tim” Rex Mahan, 56, of Trenton, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2019 in a local hospice facility.


Tim was raised in the Cole City area and was a butcher at Food Lion in Trenton for a number of years. He attended Davis School and New Home Baptist Church and was a born-again believer in Jesus Christ. Tim would give the shirt off his back to make sure others would not do without. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Junior Mahan, Sr., & Alice Ruth Morgan Mahan, brothers, Billy Junior Mahan, Jr., Dwight George “Ike” Conkle, Sr., & William “Larry” Conkle, Sr.


Survivors include his brothers, Perry Richard Conkle, Sr, (Marilyn) of Trenton, Robert Lee Conkle of Trenton, Michael Anthony Mahan, Sr., of Trenton, & Duane Mahan, Sr., of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Helen (Dennis) Straughn of Trenton; many nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. in the Ryan Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Robert Goff officiating. Interment will follow in Conkle Cemetery.

TRENTON, GA: Marilyn Rosa Foshee, age 79 passed away December 3, 2019. She was a loving lady that enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Marilyn was of the Baptist Faith and attended Calvary Baptist Church.


She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Elizabeth; parents John and Edith Burns; sisters Ruth Weeks, Maggie McMahan, Ruby Doss; brothers Johnny Burns and William Burns.


Survivors include her loving companion of forty-seven years, George Donaldson; daughters Barbara (Steve) Harrison, Wanda (Lester) Rivenbark; sons Charles (Michelle) Foshee, Raymond (Sheila) Foshee, Ben (Renee) Foshee; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; special family members Lou, Lynn, Nadine and Cathy; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.


Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 7, 2019 in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Renshaw and Mrs. Nadine Woods officiating. Interment will be held in Hannah Cemetery.


Family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM ~ Saturday from 9:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM
