DADE CO, GA: Austin Lee Gray age 22 passed away, Thursday, November 14, 2019. Austin loved God, his family and loved life. He couldn’t wait to hold his new son who is due in March. He was a jack of all trades and worked for Gray Construction.


He was preceded in death by his grandfather Denny Gray.


Survivors include his wife Ashley Gray; son, Logan Holcombe and Able Lee Gray parents, Kenny (Amanda) Gray and Rhonda (Danny Wallin) Reeves-Gray; grandparents, Ronald and Beth Reeves, Eddie and Faye Hardin and Faye Gray; sister, Kaylei Gray; brothers, Jordan Gray, Kaden Gray; several nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.


Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM EDT on Monday, November 18, 2019 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jim Hixon officiating. Burial will be held in Hawkins Cemetery.


Family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM, Sunday from 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM.

Doyle Tishaw, 71, of Bryant, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in a local health care facility.


Mr. Tishaw was a loving father who enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife, and had a heart for animals. He was active in charity work and helping to feed children overseas. As a businessman, Mr. Tishaw enjoyed trading merchandise with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Tishaw, brothers, John, Dolan, Macky, & James Tishaw, sisters, Ila & Lila Hawkins, & Ozell Brown.


Survivors include his daughters, Lynn Newman Swaggerty, Kelly Phillips, Shelia Tishaw & Selena Tishaw; grandchildren, Mason Reed, Cameron Hunt, Jada Vaughn, Caden Newman, Chevy & Dale Phillips & Aaron Fraker; sister, Letha Burns; several nieces & nephews.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 16th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Lynn Swaggerty officiating. Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery, Lookout Mountain.

TRENTON, GA: Stephen David Petet, age 69, passed away November 5, 2019.He was a great father who would do anything for you. Steve was of the Christian faith.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mamie Petet.


Survivors include his sons, Stephen Ross Petet, Rossville, GA. and Dustin Petet, Trenton, GA; grandchildren Breanna Petet, Seanna Petet, and Luke Petet; sisters Karen Mathews, Nashville, TN. and Patricia Brock, Mobile, AL; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
