Henry Arvil “Bob” Smith, age 98, of Trenton, GA died at his residence Saturday evening November 2, 2019. He was retired from Dyer Lumber Company after 43 years of service. Mr. Smith was of the Baptist faith.


He is preceded in death by his wife Virginia Ann Pryor Smith, three brothers Elbert, Brad, and Ted Smith, two sisters Ovell Lumpkin, and Henrietta Henry.


Surviving include his children Carolyn Phillips of Trenton, GA; son Jerry (Connie) Smith of Henagar, AL; two grandchildren Jeremy Smith and Amanda (Wayne) RehKamp; four great-grandchildren Zack Smith, Britany Robinson, Nathaniel and Nicholas RehKamp; three great-great-grandchildren Lucas, Ransom, and Ana Belle Robinson; also several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday in the chapel with Bro. Eddie Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

BRYANT, AL: Stanley LaDale Chapman, age 51, passed away at his residence October 28, 2019. He was a long-time diesel mechanic at several major truck repair shops in the Chattanooga area.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Chapman.


Survivors include his wife of twenty-six years, Pamela Chapman; father Stanley Chapman; sister Cindy (Howie) Workman; grandmother Mildred Chapman; father and mother-in-law Frank and Janie McDaniel; sister-in-law Kerterina Marple; several nieces and nephews which brought much pride and joy to his life; and a host of friends.


Funeral services will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at 6:00 PM EDT in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.


Visitation will be held Thursday 4:00 ~ 8:00 PM; Friday 4:00 ~ 6:00 PM EDT at the Trenton Chapel.

Ruby Mae Nunley, 97, of Trenton, Georgia, died on Monday, October 28, 2019.


She was a loving mother & housewife and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Houston Alexander Nunley, and son, David Nunley.


Survivors include her daughters, Catherine Styles of Trenton, Bonnie (Monroe) Conner of Trenton, Debora (Keith) Pack, Birmingham, AL,, & Evelyn (Clarence) Bowen, Trenton; sons, Freddie Nunley, Trenton, Rondal (Gail) Nunley of Trenton, & Johnny Nunley of Valley Head, AL; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, & twenty-six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Elva Brown of Ringgold, GA & Dena Blackstock of Trenton; several nieces & nephews.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
