Norman Lee Williams, age 72, of Rising Fawn, GA passed away at home Sunday, September 15, 2019. Mr. Williams was retired form Mississippi Valley Steel Corp. of Chattanooga, TN. He was a member at the Rising Fawn Church of God and an avid fisherman & hunter.


Preceded in death by his parents Pete and Hattie Wallin Williams; brother Johnny Williams; sisters Betty Gant and Edna Ray.


Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years Sue Williams of Rising Fawn, GA; son Scott (Amanda) Williams of Rising Fawn, GA; son Tony Williams of Hixson, TN; son David Meeks of Hixson, TN; sister Cindy (Terry) Howell of Rising Fawn, GA; brother David Ray of Rising Fawn, GA; sister Mattie Moore of Rising Fawn, GA; grandchildren Corey and Curtis Williams, Jonathan Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Austin Avans, Dakota Holder, Tanner Kunkel; great-grandson Connor Williams; several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel with Rev. Chris Hagler officiating. Interment will follow in Hanna Cemetery, Rising Fawn, GA. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton.

Grace Lynn Cuzzort, 60, of Trenton, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019 in a local hospital.


Lynn was a housewife, loving mother & grandmother and was a member of Heaven Bound Non-Denominational Church in Trenton. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Francis Jones & Eva Virginia Skinner Jones, son, Douglas Watson, granddaughter, Jaden Nicole Horton, great-granddaughter, Aurbree Ellen Watson, & brother, James Luther Carden, Jr.


Survivors include her husband, Tim Cuzzort; daughters, Annette (Joe) Miles, Scottsboro, AL, & Tiffany Phillips, Ider AL; son, Robert (Terra) Watson, Trenton, GA; sisters, Darlene Lawlor, Louise Sheets, Pamela Bradshaw, & Elizabeth Ballard; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.


Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 17th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Tildon Moreland officiating. Interment will follow in New Home Cemetery.

WILDWOOD, GA: James Hicks, 82, passed away September 8, 2019 at his home in Wildwood, Georgia, with his family by his side. He was born November 12, 1936 at Section, Alabama to the late Jim Hicks and Minnie Hicks Bunch.


James retired from Model Box and he also worked many years with Corley Manufacturing Company. He was a United States Army Veteran. James was a member at Valley Memorial Baptist Church.


He was preceded in death by one sister, Minnie Fay Thurmond.


James is survived by his loving wife and caregiver, Nancy Hicks for 63 ½ years; three sons and daughters-in-law, James (Cathy), Tim (Cindy), Mark (Andria); grandsons, Chris, Chad, Tony and Tyler Hicks; two great grandsons, Hayden and Ty Hicks; one great-granddaughter, Haylee Hicks; one sister, Mary Creed; one sister-in-law, Eloise Brazier and a host of friends, nieces and nephews.


We would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for the wonderful care and love they gave us. There were four special people that we grew to love, Hazel, Mary, Lynn and Patty. You were the best.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Josh Hollifield officiating. Interment will be held in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
