JOHN R. SNYDER

John R. Snyder, age 66, of Bryant, AL passed away early Tuesday morning, August 27, 2019. Mr. Snyder was retired form Farley Sathers of Chattanooga, TN.

Preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Ruth Axton Snyder; sister Sherri Brower; son Dean Odom.

Surviving include his wife Sonja Snyder of Bryant, AL; daughter Heather Leavitt of Bryant, AL; son John R. Snyder II of Bryant, AL; 5 grandchildren; mother-in-law Geneva Earlene Morgan; bother Stanley Dean Snyder II; sister Starr Riznyk; several nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory, Trenton, GA.

MICHAEL TERRELL STEPHENS

Michael Terrell Stephens, age 65, of Lookout Mountain, Georgia passed away at his home Saturday evening, August 24, 2019. Mr. Stephens was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator with Stone Man Tiftonia Quarry. He was member of the Wallaceville Church of God.

Preceded in death by his wife Joan Stephens; parents Terrell Willis and Anita Louise Sauls Stephens; sister Kathy Marie Phillips.

Survivors include his son Michael Keith Stephens of Lookout Mountain, GA; sister Deborah (Steve) Slaven of Lookout Mountain, GA; sister Rhonda Hillis of Trenton, GA; brother David (Pam) Stephens of Lookout Mountain, GA; brother Gary (Brenda) Stephens of Chickamauga, GA; 3 grandchildren Morgan Stephens, Madison Stephens, Micah Stephens; great-granddaughter Anna Leigh Perkins; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. Lamar Walker, Rev. Gene Strauss and Rev. Jason Hollis officiating. Family will receive friends 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday and Tuesday and 12:00 PM to service time Wednesday. Interment will follow in the Hooker Cemetery, Wildwood, GA.

Margaret Katherine Morgan

Margaret Katherine Morgan, 87, of Wildwood, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Morgan was employed by Bell South Telephone Company, Marmode Hosiery Mill and Shaw Industries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Timothy Morgan, parents, Janie & Claud White, sisters, Doris Elizabeth White, Janie Ruth Strawn & Mary Jasmine Patterson, & brother, Claud Hugh White.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon ( Brent) Heiskell of Madisonville, TN, Carolyn Morgan Beatty of Trenton, GA, & Karla (Timothy) Lynch of Wildwood, GA; sons, Timothy (Kathy) Morgan of Jasper, TN, & Michael Morgan of East Ridge, TN; brother, Leon Campbell; grandchildren, Erica Murphy, Meghann Taylor, Keri Sides, Courtney Yates, Dustin Rogers, Amber Bollinger, Holly Morgan, Ethan Lynch, Taylor Morgan, & Jake Morgan; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Hooker Cemetery with Bro. Mike Williams officiating.
