David William Duvall, Sr., 78, of Trenton, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at his home following a long illness.


David was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and served in Vietnam. He left the Marine Corp after ten years of service and retired from the Dade County Board of Education as a bus driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen & Gladys Self Duvall, and four siblings, Clara Webb, Elizabeth Espy, Leonard & Everette Duvall.


Survivors include his wife, Gladys Mahan Duvall; children, David, Jr. (Candy), Steve (Chieko), Paula, and Mary Ann (Tommy) Bradford; grandchildren, Rachel (Aaron) Buckner, James (Misty) Duvall, Christina (Travis) Jubin, Austin & Tressa Campbell, Andy (Megan) Duvall, Holly Duvall, Taylor, Tori, & Tyler Duvall, Rebecca (Garrett) Hill, Robert Eastman, Tanner, Aidan, Colin, & Matthew Bradford; five great-grandchildren, Kaiden & Lila Buckner, Tula Barry, Regan & Mila Duvall; siblings, Mary Ellen Jackson, Dan, Terry, & Tommy Duvall; several nieces & nephews.


Funeral services with full military honors will be held on Sunday, July 14th at 3:00 p.m. in the Ryan Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Terry Duvall officiating. Interment will be in Payne’s Cemetery, Trenton.

TRENTON GA: Carmella Santina Warzecha, age 80, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019.


She was preceded in death by her husband, John “Pop” Warzecha; parents, Angelo and Julia Pepe; brothers, Anthony and Joseph Pepe.


Survivors include her loving daughters, Felicia (Mike) Pryor, Trenton, GA and Jacquelyn Warzecha, Altoona, FL; grandchildren, Deanna (Corey) Canazaro, Rising Fawn, GA, Sal (Sarah) Canazaro, Trenton, GA, John Canazaro, Trenton, GA, Melissa (David) Miles, Virginia, Kristy (Clay) Sharp, Lookout MTN, GA; great grandchildren, Tyler, Aliyha, J.C., Savannah and M.J.


Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Tommy Crider officiating. Interment will be held in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.


Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.

Alma Faye Britt, 71, of Trenton, GA, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019 at her residence.


Mrs. Britt was of the Baptist faith and, along with her husband, owned & operated Britt’s Leather. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Almeda Bonner of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, brothers, Danny & Don Bonner, and sister, Jeanette Melton, all of Arkansas.


Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Fred Esten Britt; sons, James (Ann), Jay (Gina) Britt, of Higdon, Alabama, Keith (Ramona) & Adam (Shelley) Britt of Flat Rock, Alabama; daughter, Lachel “Sissy” Britt, of Trenton, Georgia; grandchildren, Megan, Brittany, Dylan, Mindy Jo, Cassidy, Ben, & Crissy; great-grandchildren, Levi, Quinten, Gabriel, Harper, & Esten; sister, Betty (Jimmy) Miller, & Wanda (James) Woods, both of Arkansas.


Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
