RISING FAWN, GA: Viva Ovine Bradford, age 94, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church and was married to her loving husband for sixty-nine years. They enjoyed being members of the Northwest Georgia Fox Hunters Association.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvine Bradford; parents Ray and Georgia Hixson and sister Rena Mae Anderson.


Survivors include her loving children and their spouses, Adena and Bob Ferrante, Shirley and Philip Cagle, Cathy and Roger Castleberry, Milton and Margaret Bradford, Wesley and Sharon Bradford, Ernie and Barbara Bradford, all of Rising Fawn, GA; twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sisters Jeanette Hartman and Clara Elizabeth Wilson of Dunlap, TN; brother Sam Hixson, Dunlap, TN.; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.


Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM EDT Sunday, May 5, 2019, in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Curtis and Pastor Jodi Ihfe officiating. Interment will follow in Hawkins Cemetery.


The family will receive friends Saturday 4:00 ~ 8:00 PM EDT; Sunday 1:00 PM ~ 3:00 PM.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Salem United Methodist Church or

Hawkins Cemetery Fund.

TRENTON, GA: Brenda Gail Gass, age 64, passed away, Monday, April 29, 2019. She worked in the nursing field, serving others, for many years. Brenda was a member of Floral Crest Seventh Day Adventist Church.


She was preceded in death by her first husband, Danny Gass, and father, Clyde Kesler.


Survivors include her loving husband, Joel Sparks; son Chase (Ashton) Gass; granddaughter Madilyn Gass; mother Hazel Cross; sisters Sharon McDaniel, Velva Taylor (Tony Fulks); brother Victor (Kathy) Kesler; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.


Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM EDT Friday, May 3, 2019, at the Floral Crest Seventh Day Adventist Church with Elder Chris Bynum officiating. Interment will follow in Brown’s Gap Cemetery.


The family will receive friends at the Church Friday from 5:00 PM EDT to time of service.

TRENTON, GA: James Edward Cunningham, age 69, passed away April 24, 2019. He loved the Lord and served Him through his home church, Piney Grove Baptist, and Silent Word Ministries.
