John Clayton "Big John" Allen, 80 of Stevenson, AL, died April 10, 2019. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson. The Funeral Service will be Friday, April 12, at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Joel Shiflett. Interment will be in Longacre Cemetery. John was the son of the late Hess and Ruth Williams Allen born October 28, 1938 in Hollywood, AL. He was a Jackson County School Bus Driver. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Mary Tex Allen. TRENTON, GA: Barbara Lorine Clark, age 66, passed away April 10, 2019. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She attended New Vision Church of God.


Her smiling face will be missed at Ingles, where she was friends to many.


Survivors include her daughters Angela (Marty) Butler, Deborah (David) Clark; grandchildren Brent (Brittany), Sammy, Levi and Paisley Butler; parents G.W. and Annie Hicks; sisters Emma James and Diane Morrow; brothers Kenneth Hicks, Stevie Hicks, and Ernie Hicks, and a host of friends.


Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, April 14, 2019 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jim Phillips and Brother Randy Tinker officiating. Interment will be held in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.



The family will receive friends Saturday 2:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM

EAST RIDGE TN: Ruth Smith, age 82 passed away, Thursday, April 11, 2019. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post #95.


She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Gene Spears and Bobby Ray Spears; great grandson, Chase Snodgrass; siblings, Susie Moore, Grady Mashburn, Margie Robbins, Bill Mashburn, James Mashburn and Joe Mashburn.


Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Martin and Peggy Atkins; sister, Mary Spears Elliott, Helen Morton; brothers, Paul Franklin Mashburn and Loyd Mashburn; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.


Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, April 15, 2019 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Black and Brother David Plank officiating. Interment will be held in Lakewood Memory Garden South.


Visitation will be held Sunday 1:00 PM ~ 9:00 PM

Monday 11:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM
