Charles Kennedy, age 85, of Trenton, GA passed away Thursday morning, April 11, 2019. Mr. Kennedy was a retired carpenter and of the Baptist faith.


Preceded in death by his parents Floyd Edward and Edith Hartbarker Kennedy; first wife Allene Kennedy; second wife Nelda Kennedy; daughter Rhonda Grant; daughter Eddie Tinker; grandson Charlie Grant.


Surviving include daughters Jeannie Kennedy and Elizabeth Vandergriff both of Trenton, GA; son Ed Holland of Trenton, GA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.


Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 14, 2019 in the chapel with Wayne Everett officiating. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday at Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory.

Barbara Ann Castleberry, 82, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019 in a local hospital.


Barbara was a homemaker and a member of Trenton Ministry Center and was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Baker & Emma Pryor Castleberry and sister, Patsy Patton.


Survivors include her sister, Joyce Holmes of Trenton, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.


Graveside services will be held Sunday, April 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Payne Cemetery in Trenton with Pastor Randy Tinker officiating.

Edward “Wayne” Andrews, age 85, of Lookout Valley, TN passed away Thursday evening, March 28, 2019. Mr. Andrews was a retired Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he proudly served for 20 years. He was also a master mechanic and worked as an inspector at Combustion Engineering and Pyramid of Chattanooga. Mr. Andrews was a faithful member of the Lookout Valley Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, superintendent, and a founder of the Bus Ministry. He was a devoted Christian who loved to serve the Lord. A passionate man who was dedicated to his family, friends, and country.


Preceded in death by his parents Baxter Coleman and Nancy Ruth Andrews; previous wife Carolyn Beard Andrews; great-grandson Colton Scott.


Surviving include his wife Betty Joyce Andrews of Lookout Valley, TN; son Edward Wayne (Nancy) Andrews, Jr. of Valdosta, GA; daughter Donna (Don) Scott of Red Bank, TN; grandchildren Michael (Ashley) Andrews; Brian (Ashlynn) Andrews; Kara Andrews; Wade Scott; Andrew (Julie) Scott; Caleb Scott; step-sons Steve (Carolyn) McCamy and Tony (Emily) McCamy; step-grandchildren Rachel McCamy, Melissa Harvey, Lexie McCamy, Jason Moore; sister Jeanette (Sam) Lambert of Jasper, TN; 9 great-grandchildren.


Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Lookout Valley Baptist Church with Dr. Alan Johnston and Pastor Troy Walliser officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery at 12:30 PM with full Military Honors. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Lookout Valley Baptist Church.
