CHATTANOOGA, TN: Raymond “Hoss” Eugene Langston, Jr., age 59, passed away March 29, 2019. He was a devoted father and loved to fish.


He was preceded in death by his dad Raymond Langston; brother Ronnie Langston; sister Sharon “Libby” Kendrick.


He is survived by his daughters Beth Dumas, Greenville, GA., Christie Carter, LaGrange, GA.; son Michael Langston, Moultrie, GA.; four grandchildren Quenton and Mason Dumas, Alexis and Adriana Carter; mother Thelma Anne Nelson; brothers Gary (Mary) Langston, Cloudland, GA., Tony (Janet) Langston, Rome, GA., Mackie (Betty) Langston, Lookout Valley, TN.


A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, April 1, 2019 at 7:00 PM EDT in the Trenton Chapel.


Visitation will be Monday, 5:00 ~ 7:00 PM.

Geneva Lavonne Geurin, 85, of Lookout Valley, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at her residence.


Mrs. Geurin was born on January 28, 1934 in Stevenson County, Alabama to the late William Bryan Smith & Beatrice Hambley Smith. She was a graduate of Central High School, was employed as an L.P.N for many years, and was an active member of Wauhatchie United Methodist Church. Mrs. Geurin was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Floyd Odell Geurin, and brothers, Vernon T. Smith, Gene Henry Smith, & William Bryan Smith, Jr.


Left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters-in-law, Tony & Betsy Geurin & Shawn & Helen Geurin; grandchildren, Craig, Zachary, Amy, & Lindsey; brother-in-law, Tommy Shipley and sister-in-law, Kay Lane; several nieces and nephews.


Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 6th at 10:00 a.m. at Lakewood Memory Gardens, West with Pastor Tommy Messer officiating. The family will receive friends for food and fellowship at Wauhatchie United Methodist Church following the service. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
