HIGDON AL: Martha Ann Higdon, age 79 went to be with her Lord, Saturday, March 9, 2019. She was a member of Higdon Holiness Church.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Garlton B. Higdon Sr.; parents, Bessie Strickland and James Henderson; sisters, Ella Jean Parton and Sue Ramsey; brother, James G. Henderson; daughter in law, Sandra L. Higdon.


Survivors include her loving family, daughters, Peggy (Denny) Davis, Rachel (Jimmie) Adams and Sylvia Smith; son, Garlton Higdon, Jr.; sisters, Faye Durham, Nina Hudgins, Rosa Whitley; twenty-two grandchildren; Jennifer (Chris) Baker, Garlton B. “Shawn (Salena) Higdon, III, Patrick (Tabitha) Higdon, Christie (Mark) LaHayne, Jeremy (Shelly) Adams, Lance Adams, Tiffany (TJ) Rakowitz, Amanda Smith, Cassie (Clint) McKenzie, Tara (Tyler) Brewer, Hilary (Tyson) Robinson, Toby (Caitlin) Davis; thirty-three great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.


Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM EDT Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Higdon Holiness Church with Brother Edwin Spurgeon and Brother Jody Gray officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.


Visitation will be held Monday 11:00 AM ~ 8:00 PM

Tuesday 10:00 AM ~ 4:00 PM

FLAT ROCK AL: Annecia Yvette Inman Stacy, age 61 passed away, Friday, March 8, 2019.

She was a school bus driver at North Sand Mountain for 40 years, enjoyed coaching and playing softball. She loved her grandchildren and was very active in her community. She was always there for her family and friends when they needed her.


Annecia was preceded in death by her father, W. R. Bill Inman.


Survivors include her loving family, husband, Bo Stacy; daughter, Kristy (Eric) Smith; son, Kenney (Becky) Smith; mother, Argie Inman; sister, Melinda (Ricky) Blevins; brothers, Mark (Donna) Inman; five grandchildren, Terry, Kennzie, Gannon, Gunner and Oaklie.


Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EDT Monday, March 11, 2019 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Dean Sims officiating. Interment will be held in Oaklawn Memorial Park.

TRENTON, GA.: Karen Margaret Albrecht Exum, age 60, went home to be with God on March 6th, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. She worked at the Lookout Valley Walmart for many years and enjoyed her job as well as the people she worked with. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.


She was preceded in death by her husband Jonathan L. Exum and her father Vincent Albrecht.


She leaves behind her mother Ruth Albrecht, daughters Malissa Caraway (William Caraway) and Nichole Kirby (Jackie Kirby), and step son Jonathan Exum (Kayla Exum), grandchildren Tyler Kirby, Christina Kirby, Ethan Kirby, Michael Caraway, Kaylee Caraway, Matthew Caraway, Harper Exum, and great grandchild Heath Kirby, sister Mary Sharon O'Brien, brothers Paul Albrecht, Steven Albrecht, and William Albrecht.


A Memorial service will be held at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, GA on Sunday March 10th at 3:00PM. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 3:00PM.
