WAYNE MCCORMICK


Wayne McCormick, 64, of Ooltewah, TN, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.

Wayne was retired from Hamilton County Emergency Services following 30 years of service, was a member of White Oak Baptist Church, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Wayne McCormick, infant daughter, Kayla McCormick, and mother, Barbara Jean Massey McCormick.

Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, April McCormick; children, Melissa (Ethan) Blevins, Ft. Payne, AL, Stephanie Fitzgerald, Ooltewah, TN, and Kristen (Corey) Barton, Signal Mtn., TN; grandchildren, Kayleigh Norton, Koty Norton, Ryleigh Fitzgerald & Raelynn Fitzgerald; brother, Chris (Penny) McCormick; father, Wendell McCormick; several nieces & nephews.

Graveside services with military honors will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Gospel Cemetery with Jody Massey officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 24th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
