BARBARA HICKS

Barbara Ann Hicks, age 74, of Trenton, GA passed away Friday morning, May 24, 2019 at her residence. She was a graduate of Davis High School, class of 1962. Mrs. Hicks was a devoted homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by her father Harry Lee Chappelear; brother Gary and Byron Chappelear; sisters Pat Cagle and Freda Higdon.

Surviving include her husband Terry M. Hicks, Sr of Trenton, GA; mother, Pauline Chappelear; daughter Charlotte Lankster of Bryant, AL; son Terry M. (Becky) Hicks, Jr. of Bryant, AL; brother James (Betty) Chappelear of Chickamauga, GA; brother Frank (Helen) Chappelear of Trenton, GA; grandchildren Curtis Lankster, Justin Hicks, Hope Gilbreath, Lacosta Evans, Katlin Palmour; great-grandchildren Josslyn Lankster; Dalton Eli Hicks, Jaxyn Lankster; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, May 26, 2019 in the chapel with Rev. James Dobson and Pastor Randy Tinker officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday and 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Sunday at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
