MARGARET POPE

BRYANT, AL: Margaret Marie Pope, age 71, passed away April 22, 2019. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a bus driver over twenty-five years and a part-time mail carrier. Margaret was of the Church of God faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Granville “Barry” Pope and parents, James Gordan and Betty Ruth Talley.

Survivors include her daughter, Wendy (Brad) Tipton, Chattanooga, TN; son Frankie Pope, Bryant, AL; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; sisters Donna McCain and Brenda Wright of Skyline; brother Tony Talley of Skyline; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM EDT Thursday, April 25, 2019 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Brad Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in Bryant Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM EDT

Thursday 10:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM EDT
